Jewelerry Care...
Tarnishing
Silver will tarnish so use a non abrasive silver cloth.
Sparkle
To get your jewellery sparkling again (with an exception to pearls and emeralds as these are porous),
leave to soak in a bowl of warm water with a mild detergent, using a soft bristle toothbrush to clean
(harder bristles can leave small scratches on metals). Rinse under water and dry using a soft cloth.
Pearls
Pearl jewellery should be worn as a final touch, apply all creams, make up and style hair first as chemicals
can damage the pearls. Do not place pearls in silver dip products.
Gemstones
Some stones may be brittle or porous, if unsure of the best way to clean, please contact for advice or
have your item professionally cleaned.
Matt Finish
Some pieces may have a satin finish applied to the metal, over time, the surface can become polished, if this happens it is not a problem, a re-finish can be applied.
Gold Plating
Some pieces may have a contrasting plating detail added to them, this is where microns are fused to the surface of the metal, if looked after, the plating should last over a long period of time, however a re-finish can be applied.
Oxidising
Parts of your jewellery may have oxidised detailing, do not place this in silver dips, instead soak in mild soapy water and dry carefully.
